Sealing of cable fittings

The Abris K material sealing system is used when installing heat-shrinkable sleeves in cable lines with voltages up to 10-35 kV.

The system provides sealing of the cable sheath and joints, interphase filling of couplings, equalization of the electric field strength. This system guarantees protection and reliable operation of the clutch.

Abris K-EI electrical insulating material in the form of tapes for equalizing the electric field strength in the sleeve

precisely controls the specific volumetric electrical resistance and dielectric constant;
reduces the field strength to a level that ensures reliable long-term operation of the clutch.

Abris K-MZ is a plastic, gas-tight sealant in the form of prisms for interphase filling of couplings

allows you to displace air from the interphase space, thereby eliminating air ionization and electrical discharges during the operation of the couplings.

Abris K-LB sealing material in the form of tapes to protect cable sheaths

possesses high waterproofing and anti-corrosion properties, chemical resistance, heat and frost resistance, resistance to aging;
ensures the performance of cables in various climatic conditions during the entire service life

Hard-combustible materials

Abris K, Abris K-LBtg and Abris K-MZpr.tg. in the form of tapes and prisms

Sphere of application:

used in cable lines with increased requirements for the combustibility of materials (inside the containment shell of the reactor in the nuclear industry, railway tunnels, subway tunnels, cable lines of ships, etc.);
not supporting or stopping combustion material in accordance with GOST 12176-89 “Cables, wires, cords. Methods of checking for non-propagation of combustion "p.2;
oxygen index according to GOST 12.1.044-89 not less than 30%;
the composition is free of halogens.

The main stages of using the Abris K system when assembling a heat-shrinkable sleeve

Stage 1: insulation of the core of the conductor cutting and bolt connectors with Abris K-EI tape to equalize the electric field strength, has oil-resistant properties.

Stage 2: filling the interphase space with Abris K-MZ sealing material to eliminate voids in the interphase space.

Stage 3: insulation of the joints of the grounding conductor and joints of the heat-shrinkable casing with cable insulation to protect the coupling from moisture penetration with the Abris K-LB sealing material.
