The protective under-helmet is an individual head protection device designed to shield against the harmful effects of electromagnetic radiation when working with sources of electromagnetic radiation or in areas with elevated electromagnetic fields.

Product Description

• Upper Part: The upper portion of the "Abris EMI" protective under-helmet (head protection) is made using shielding fabric.
• Lower Part (Collar Zone): The lower section is made of elastic "Abris EMIv" rubber (TU 2290-014-52471462-2011), which has radiation-absorbing properties. This is sewn into the protective shielding fabric and lined with natural fabric for comfort.
• Fastenings: The under-helmet is secured with Velcro-style fasteners.

For additional face protection, the design includes a removable protective shield made from metallised silver-coated fabric. This shield attaches to the upper part of the under-helmet and can be lowered to cover the face as needed. It provides extra protection by reflecting electromagnetic radiation without reducing visibility.

The Abris EMI protective under-helmet is one-size-fits-all.
