Abris RZ - radiation-protective polymer mastic for joints of various structures made of lead, concrete, etc. (technical specificatios: 6990-012-52471462-2009)

The radiation-protective material Abris RZ has:

•  expert opinion on compliance with the Unified sanitary-epidemiological and hygienic requirements No. 08/1 8578 of 13.12.2016
• chemical product safety data sheet No. 52471462-22-55699 dated 06.03.2019

The material has passed laboratory tests in the laboratory of radiation control of LLC "Roentgen-Center", which has the certificate of accreditation No. SARK RU. 0001. 1773 dated 14.09.14.

Mastic Abris RZ is a plastic or paste-like non-curing mixture based on a polymer binder, filler, plasticizer and technological additives. Barite, lead, and tungsten are used as a fillers. The waterproofing properties of the Abris RZ material are provided by a polymer base. In addition, the applied polymer base of the Abris RZ material ensures the material's resistance to seawater, chemically aggressive media (solutions of salts, weak acids and concentrated alkalis).

Abris RZ mastic is available in the form of self-adhesive tapes and cords, as well as in cartridges and in file packages.

Physical and mechanical properties of the radiation-protective material Abris RZ:

* indicators depending on the type of filler, the degree of filling, the design of the product
**possible short-term exposure up to + 140 °C

Mastic materials Abris RZ are used:

1. For sealing slotted holes, output communications (mastic in cords, in cartridges, in file packages).
2. For sealing the docking points in structures made of lead, steel, concrete, combined protection (mastic in the form of tapes, cords with various fillers).
3. For the rehabilitation of cracks in concrete. The consistency of the mastic allows you to apply it with a spatula.
4. When installing barite panels, Abris material is used (mastic in the form of tapes with various fillers) for sealing joints between panels.
5. For the arrangement of premises in the form of profiled materials:

• a set of parts (flat sheets) of the required thickness, width, length;
• flexible roll materials (roll width up to 500 mm, roll length up to 10 m.);
• it is possible to supply material with reinforcement (hard plastic, metal, PVC, etc.).

Places of application of mastic Abris RZ

LLC "Plant of Sealing Materials" has a license No. 77.99.15.002.11.000026.02.10 dated 05.02.2010 for the implementation of activities in the field of design, construction, manufacture of radiation protection equipment for ionizing radiation sources, obtained from the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-Being.

Since 2009, the company has experience in the supply of Abris RZ materials, its implementation and use at the enterprises of the State Corporation "Rosatom", "RosRAO", and the Ministry of Health.
