Shipbuilding

In shipbuilding, it is recommended:

-for intra-seam and groove sealing of ship structures for various purposes, marine engineering products; -for sealing portholes, structural joints of decks and hulls of wooden and metal ships;
-for sealing bulkheads and superstructures, in which riveted and bolted joints are provided, as well as flanged joints of pipelines for various purposes and choke joints of oil pipelines;
-to ensure vibration and sound insulation (Abris VBD).

The non-curing, moisture-air-tight dielectric sealant Abris is approved for use on ships supervised by the River Register, for sealing ship structures and systems (Verkhne-Volzhskaya Inspection Russian River Register, conclusion No. VVI-24-914 of 18.07.01). Certificate of Recognition No. 1846-13.3 dated 21.03.2002 of the Russian River Register.

The material has passed a full cycle of tests for resistance to sea water (Act of the Maritime Register No. 02.0009.130 of 27.1 1.02).

 The Abris sealant was tested for resistance to cyclic loads, water absorption under pressure, resistance to concentrated alkalis and weak acids, etc.

A tropical version of Abris trop. sealant has  increased resistance to a humid climate and the development of microorganisms, intended for ships and floating crafts operated in any navigation areas.

During the construction and overhaul of ships, it is proposed to use Abris E electrically conductive sealants and Abris TR thermally expanding sealants.
