On March 22-23, 2006, within the framework of the National project "Affordable and comfortable housing for the citizens of Russia", the II All-Russian scientific and technical conference "Stroygermetik-2006" was held.

The venue is the city of Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod Region. The conference was organized by the Russian Union of Builders (RCC), the Federal Agency for Construction and Housing and Public Utilities, Sealing Materials Plant,  LLC (Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod Region) with the support of:

• Ministry of Construction and Housing and Public Utilities of the Nizhny Novgorod Region,
• Department of urban development of the territory of the Nizhny Novgorod region,
• Nizhny Novgorod Association of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (NAPP),
• Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod Region.

Conference theme:

"Protection of structures of buildings and structures from the influence of adverse environmental factors (sound, hydro, thermal insulation, sealing, chemical and bioprotection)".

The purpose of the conference

consideration of topical issues of modern construction:

• increasing the service life of newly constructed and reconstructed facilities,
• introduction of new Russian energy-saving sealing technologies in the construction industry,
• increasing control over the quality of construction, in particular sealing of structures under construction, by manufacturers of materials, design and construction organizations, the state, as well as information exchange and development of business contacts.
