Sealing Materials Plant
Manufacturer of materials and technologies Abris.
Section: Tapes
Packaging: corrugated cardboard boxes
TU: 2513-001-43008408-98
The sealant is in the form of a self-adhesive oil–resistant tape, which is covered on the one hand with an anti-adhesive material, on the other hand with a reinforcing one. It is highly resistant to oil and water, as well as other working media: solutions of alkalis and mineral salts, greases (Solidol, Litol), water-alcohol solutions and water-glycol mixtures (antifreeze etc.).
Scope of application:
the sealant is intended for sealing and protecting fixed detachable joints: various gearboxes, connecting flanges, covers of hydro- and pneumomechanical equipment, crankcases of pumping stations, santeh- and auto equipment, technological and capacitive equipment (made of metal, concrete, etc. materials) from the effects of oils, water and other media.
Specifications:

Mode of application:
Before applying the sealant, the work surface is cleaned of dirt and moisture is removed with a rag. When working with a sealant, it is necessary to remove the anti-adhesive coating, apply the sealing side to the work surface, press firmly or roll it through the anti-adhesive coating with a roller. When working with sealant, no special protective equipment is required for workers.
Sealing works are not recommended for outdoor air temperatures below -20 °C, rain, snow, fog. At an outside air temperature below plus 5 °C, work can be carried out only after the sealant has been exposed for 24 hours at a temperature not lower than plus 15 °C; it is recommended to use thermal equipment during installation.
