The use of this complex system for the installation of windows, with a slight increase in the cost of these works, will greatly increase the service life of the foam and the thermal insulation indicators of the entire structure as a whole.

Stages of work on the installation of a window block in accordance with GOST

Quarter preparation

Stage 1:

Treatment with primer Abris VRP or other primer.  This allows waterproofing and antiseptic treatment of the wall opening, as well as improving the adhesion of vapor barrier tapes.

Stage 2:

Lay the Abris S-LTiz tape along the perimeter of the window opening.  Due to the isolon layer, such a tape, in addition to protecting against dampness and drafts, also provides sound insulation of the window block.

Frame preparation for installation

Stage 3:

Fasten the diffusion (breathable) double-sided tape Abris S-LTdif on three sides (top and sides) of the outer perimeter of the window block, for which it is necessary to remove the protective (anti-adhesive) layer from the edge of the tape that will be attached to the block, and press this edge to  the window block with the sticky side.

Stage 4:

Fix the duplicated tape Abris S-LTd on three sides (top and sides) of the inner perimeter of the window block, for which it is necessary to remove the protective (anti-adhesive) layer from the edge of the tape that will be attached to the block, and press this edge to the window block with the sticky side.

Stage 5:

Fasten the window block in the window opening, pasted over on three sides with Abris S-LTd tapes (on the outside) and Abris S-LTd (on the inside).

 

 Stage 6:

From the outside, glue the second self-adhesive strip of the tape Abris S-LTdif, for which to remove the protective (anti-adhesive) layer from it and press the tape to the surface of the window opening.

Stage 7:

Fill the pocket formed by the Abris S-LTdif tape with polyurethane foam (from the side of the room).  Tape Abris S-LTdif will protect the polyurethane foam from external UV radiation and moisture, but at the same time will allow it to breathe.

Installation of inner layer sealing materials

Stage 8:

Without waiting for the foam to completely solidify, close it from the side of the room with a duplicated tape Abris S-LTd (it is pasted over the inner sides of the window), for which it is necessary to remove the protective (anti-adhesive) coating from the tape and press the tape to the inner side of the window opening.  The duplicated tape Abris S-LTd will provide additional sealing and waterproofing from the side of the room.

Stage 9:

Close the lower part of the window from the outside with the tape Abris S-LTnp.  The outer surface of this tape is easily primed, painted, plastered, since it is made of non-woven fabric.

Installing low tide

Stage 10:

For additional noise insulation, glue the Abris S-LTiz tape under the external metal drain.

11 Stage:

Install window sills and external drains.

Slope finishing

12 Stage:

perform wet (plaster) or dry (decorative panels) finishing of slopes.

This concludes the technology of performing the vapor barrier of the assembly seam, and the internal finishing work begins.

If you make the installation in this way, the windows will serve for a long time, will reliably protect from frost and dampness.  There will be no drafts or fungus in your home!
