Sealing Materials Plant
Manufacturer of materials and technologies Abris.
To protect against harmful electromagnetic radiation effects in various industrial sectors and service areas, ZGM LLC specialists have developed and successfully implemented the Abris EMI material.
*Technical Specifications 2290-014-52471462-2011*
Abris EMI material is designed to provide protection for technical equipment, buildings, premises, information, and personnel in various industrial sectors and service areas against harmful electromagnetic radiation effects.

The radio-wave shielding material Abris EMI is a plastic-elastic polymer composition produced in two modifications: self-adhesive and non-self-adhesive materials in the form of tapes and custom parts (foil reinforcement is permitted). An adhesive layer can be applied to non-self-adhesive parts.
Abris EMI protective materials can be supplied to the customer as kits of components with the required thickness, width, or length. Furthermore, Abris EMI materials can be manufactured as facing panels and bricks based on gypsum-cement mixtures.
Modified metal powders and other carbon-containing components are used as fillers.
Evaluation of Magnetic Field Shielding vs. Abris EMI Plate Thickness
| Thickness, mm | 0 mm | 5 mm | 10 mm | 20 mm |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| H, μT | 72.5 | 53 | 34.4 | 14.5 |
H – Magnetic Field Strength, μT.
With no plate (0 mm), the EM field strength at the generator output is 72.5 μT.
With a plate thickness of 10 mm, approximately 50% (a 2-fold reduction) of the field power (strength) is shielded.
With a thickness of 20 mm, the protection level is approximately 5 times higher.
Determining the Influence of Protective Materials on Electromagnetic Radiation Power in Exposure Zones
| Distance from EMI Source to Protective Material, cm | Initial Power Flux Density of EMI Source, µW/cm² | PFD with Reflective Material, µW/cm² | Gain/PFD with Reflective Material Protection, times | PFD with Abris EMI Material, µW/cm² | PFD Gain with Abris EMI Panel Protection, times |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 20 | 52 | 114 | 2.2 | 70 | 1.3 |
| 50 | 42 | 87 | 2.0 | 69 | 1.6 |
| 100 | 28 | 85.5 | 3.05 | 46 | 1.6 |
| 200 | 5.87 | 26 | 4.4 | 14 | 2.4 |
When reflective materials are used for protection, an increase in radiation power occurs in control and restriction zones, averaging 2 to 4.5 times. This leads to an amplification of the initial negative impact from the electromagnetic radiation source.
Thanks to the absorbing properties of the Abris material, not only is the zone of electromagnetic radiation influence reduced, but the secondary impact of electromagnetic waves caused by reflection is also prevented.
