Prefabricated collapsible radiation protection Abris

The technology allows you to create prefabricated structures with the help of barite panels Abris, in order to provide radiation protection of objects with ionizing radiation sources.

This technology allows the use of prefabricated structures, both before the placement of the ionizing radiation source, and locally-with an already working source.

Prefabricated collapsible radiation protection Abris

Advantages:

  • Application experience of more than 10 years;
  • Production with lead equivalent from 5 to 30 mm;
  • Protection of doorways as sliding panels;
  • Production according to individual standard sizes;
  • The technology allows you to assemble prefabricated structures at the place of use of the radiation source, taking into account its intensity;
  • The effectiveness of protection is regulated by layer-by-layer connection of radiation-protective panels Abris;
  • When decommissioning an object, this technology allows you to dismantle the structure in the shortest possible time, unlike concrete and other structures.

Description of the material

Abris barite panel is a combined structure consisting of a radiation-protective part Abris  RZ, lined on both sides. The thickness of the panel is selected depending on the protection requirements.

Description of the technology:

Abris barite panels are used for finishing walls, floors, ceilings, as well as as frame structures for the construction of radiation protection chambers (non-destructive testing).

The principle of protection is based on the installation of a metal frame and the subsequent attachment of radiation-protective panels Abris to it. When installing the panels, the self-adhesive radiation-protective tape Abris RZsk-LB is laid in the joints.

This technology is used in industry, research institutes, test centers and laboratories where high-power radiation sources are used, and protection from 5 to 30 millimeters in lead equivalent is required.
