On March 21-22, one of the long-awaited and significant events in the life of the city and our enterprise took place - the III All-Russian Scientific and Technical Conference "Stroygermetik - 2007".

For the third time, at the invitation of ZGM LLC, an active member of the RCC, construction industry workers from near and far corners of  Russia gathered - Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Samara, Kazan, Syzran, Tolyatti, Chelyabinsk, Orenburg, Udmurtia, Taganrog and Yekaterinburg. Such professional meetings have become a kind of open platform for discussions and exchange of experience in the field of development, production and application of sealants.

This year, not only construction and design organizations, but also mortgage companies and credit organizations operating in the construction market became participants in our conference. 

Many people at the conference spoke about the fact that suppliers should be responsible for the quality of the supplied products. In the light of man-made disasters that have occurred recently, this is more than relevant. And although the sealant in construction is more of an auxiliary material, it is impossible to guarantee the quality and safety of building structures without it. In this regard, the conference participants, including academicians, doctors of sciences, candidates of technical sciences, urged builders to use only high-quality materials.

"Today, most organizations regress as products, and this plant progresses as a," said Oleg  Lukinsky, professor, corresponding member of the Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation, head of the Hydrodefense program of the State Academy of Defense and the NRF. "We have such trouble in the country that many manufacturers have produced good products - people have reached them, and they immediately reduce quality. Fortunately, this does not apply to the Sealing Materials Plant, which produces a high-quality product, and opens speaks of sealing problems, inviting specialists to participate in the conversation. We must understand that today a lot of problems arise from the fact that good instructions are written, high-quality material is produced, and then it is given to an unskilled worker. It is necessary to solve this problem as quickly as possible, otherwise a lot of trouble awaits us.

The III All-Russian Conference is devoted to strengthening the information focus, providing a solution to many problems in construction. One of the regular participants of our conference was V. Voytovich, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Safety and Life Activities of NNGASU. This year he made an interesting presentation on the topic: "Green chemistry for sealants". It turns out that not only production waste (as it happens now everywhere), but also plants can be used as raw materials for the production of fillers for sealants. Voitovich brought samples of fillers obtained from plant material from the Moscow region especially for our enterprise. So we can hope that we will become one of the first "green" Russian plants for the production of sealants. Conference guests spoke with approval about the importance and usefulness of the event. According to Voitovich, these meetings of specialists are organized at such a high level that "... every time after the next conference, the Dzerzhinsky Plant of Sealing Materials makes a technological and production leap forward."
