Thermally expandable, moisture-air-tight sealant in the form of a self-adhesive cord that is coated with an anti-adhesive material.
Scope of application:
- sealing joints in structures made of various materials (metal, glass, rubber, etc.) in mechanical engineering (automobile, wagon, ship and aircraft industry);
- sealing in the design of protective sleeves of the welded seam of pipes for various purposes, transporting oil and gas mixtures, undried oil and natural gas, formation and process water, etc.
Specifications:
Color: black, yellow.
Output form: roll, pieces.
Volumetric expansion temperature from plus 170 °С, for brand Abris TR150 - from 150 °С, for a short time to accelerate the process of thermal expansion, exposure to temperatures up to plus 250 °С is allowed. Temperature operating conditions are from -60 °С to +180 °С.

Method of application:
- Before using the sealant, the work surface must be dried and cleaned of dirt and dust. On a rusty surface, remove the peelable outer layer of rust;
- Before use, remove the anti-adhesion coating from any side of the cord;
- Press the cord against the working surface of the part;
- Remove the release liner from the other side of the cord and attach the second piece.
When working with sealant, the use of special protective equipment for workers is not required.
Volumetric expansion of the material occurs at a temperature of at least 170 °C.
