Sealant in the form of a self-adhesive tape, which is coated with an anti-adhesive material.
Application area:
sealant Abris K-EI is designed to equalize the electric field strength in the couplings of power cables with voltage up to 35 kV. In the sealant, the specific volumetric electrical resistance, dielectric constant and dielectric loss tangent are precisely controlled. The material has high oil resistance and is able to withstand the effects of impregnating compositions of paper-insulated cables. It is produced in the form of brands Abris K-EI-10, Abris K-EI-15, Abris K-EI-20, Abris K-EI-25, Abris K-EI-40.

Mode of application:
Before applying the sealant, the work surface must be prepared - dried, cleaned of dirt and dust. When working with sealant Abris K-EI, it is necessary to remove the anti-adhesive coating and mount the tape or part in accordance with the cable accessories manufacturer's instructions.
When working with sealant, no special protective equipment is required for workers.
