The sealant is in the form of a self-adhesive tape, which on the one hand is covered with an anti-adhesive material, on the other is reinforced with foiled foamed polyethylene (folgoizolon).
Scope of application:
the sealing tape Abris-LTfiz is used as a heat and sound insulating material in thermally loaded places of vehicles.

Method of application:
Before applying the sealant, the work surface must be prepared — dried, cleaned of dirt and dust, and in winter from ice. Remove the exfoliated outer layer of rust and traces of corrosion from the rusty surface. If necessary, before applying Abris sealant, the surface must be treated with Abris Rp mastic.
It is not recommended to perform sealing work at an outdoor temperature below -20 °C, in rain, snow, fog. The recommended temperature of the sealant during application should be in the range from plus 10 °C to plus 40 °C. At an outdoor temperature below plus 5 °C, work can be carried out only after the sealant has been held for 24 hours at a temperature not lower than plus 15 °C, it is recommended to use thermal equipment during installation.
It is necessary to remove the anti-adhesive coating from the tape, apply the tape with the sealing side to the work surface, press it tightly or roll it with a roller through the reinforcing coating.
When working with a sealant, no special protective equipment is required for workers.
