Scope of the material

Sealant Abris S-LTpvh 50x1 is intended for electrical and waterproofing of current-carrying contacts (joints of wires and thermal film, cuts of thermal film with a copper strip exit) of a film energy-saving infrared floor.

Material description

 Sealant Abris S-LTpvh 50x1 is a black polymer-bitumen tape, reinforced with a polyvinyl chloride film. It is produced in the form of a tape in rolls. Has good adhesion to metal, plastic and other materials.

Application Instructions

Sealant preparation:

The sealant is fully ready for use. At ambient air temperature below plus 5 °С, operations can be performed only after holding the sealant for 24 hours at temperature not lower than plus 15 °С.

Surface Preparation:

The surface on which the sealing tape is applied shall be dry and clean.

Sealing compound application:

Install the sealant in accordance with the installation manual of the warm film floor. When carrying out works from the strip section of the required length, remove the upper layer of anti-adhesive material, apply the adhesive side to the working surface and crimp the place of current-conducting contact (places of connection of wires and thermoplastic film, sections of thermoplastic film with copper strip outlet).

Storage Conditions:

Store in the factory package in a dry room that protects the sealant from sunlight, precipitation and mechanical damage. Warranty shelf life 24 months from the date of manufacture.

Security measures:

During the work with sealant Outline S-LTpvh 50х1 isn't required special protective equipment for working.
