Procedure of works execution.

1.Clean the working surface of the joined panels from dirt, dust, water and other contaminants;

2.Treat work surfaces with primer;

3.Install heat insulation material;

4.Install the mounting tape;

5.Apply paint coating.

Note: the content of corrosive agents indicated in the air in combination with high humidity forms microgalvanic cells on the surfaces of metal structures, as a result of which metal corrosion becomes electrochemical in nature.

Conclusion on the resistance of sealing materials.

From a comparison of the above data, it follows that the concentration of the components of the aggressive environment for the production of potassium salts is much lower than the concentrations to which the proposed sealing materials are resistant, therefore the proposed technology will provide reliable sealing of interpanel joints in the conditions of production of potassium salts.

Description of construction, materials

The outer side of the joint.

 

  1. Thermal insulation material - used for:
    a) reducing the seam depth in order to reduce the consumption of the sealing material;
    b) reducing the air volume in the inner cavity of the seam in order to reduce the moisture content in the inner cavity of the seam in the form of steam;
    c) preventing the formation of condensation in the internal air cavity of the seam as a result of the phenomenon of "dew point" in conditions of temperature differences on the external and internal surfaces of the seam.

As a heat insulator, polyurethane foam, foamed polyethylene and other materials can be used according to the project.

The depth of insertion of the heat insulator into the seam is taken on the basis of a heat engineering calculation, based on the calculation of the thickness of the heat insulating layer, sufficient to prevent the "dew point" on the inner surfaces of the seam.

It is recommended to mount a heat-insulating material that does not have its own adhesion to concrete on a layer of mastic Abris Ru, Abris Rs.

  1. Primer - used for preliminary treatment of the cleaned surface of the panel to remove dust from the surface and increase the adhesion of the sealing material due to the penetration of the primer into the pores of the concrete.

It is recommended to use Abris Rp, Abris VRP as a primer.

  1. Sealing tape - used as a vapor barrier pasting seam. Abris S-LTnp is recommended as a sealing tape.

In order to ensure reliable sealing, the tape should be installed with deformation slack.

The width of the tape should be chosen so that its edges come out on the front surface of the panels to be joined.

In order to ensure a snug fit of the tape to the working surface of the panel during installation, the tape should be pressed tightly or rolled with a roller.

  1. Paints and varnishes - used to protect the surface of the panels from weathering and the surface of the sealing tapes from UV rays.

When sealing seams operating in atmospheric conditions with Abris S-LTnp materials, in order to protect the tapes from UV rays, it is recommended to paint the surface of the tapes from the side of the nonwoven fabric with paints and varnishes on alkyd, acrylic, organosilicon bases, intended for outdoor use.

When painting the facade of a building with paintwork materials based on materials that form a vapor-permeable paint and varnish layer (for example, paintwork materials based on pliolite resins), it is recommended to pre-paint the surface of mounting tapes with paintwork materials based on the above-mentioned bases, which form a continuous, non-vapor-permeable paint and varnish layer.

When sealing joints operating in atmospheric conditions with Abris S-B, Abris S-Sh, Abris Rs, in order to protect the latter from UV rays, it is recommended to paint the surface of LK materials with alkyd-based materials (PF-115 type) intended for outdoor use.

The service life of paintwork materials is in accordance with the normative document for this paintwork material.

Inner side of the joint.

  1. Primer - applied in the same way as the outside of the seam.
  2. Sealing tape - applied in the same way to the outside of the seam.

If there is dust in the air of the industrial premises, the surface of the tape should be painted with paintwork materials on alkyd, acrylic and organosilicon bases, which form a continuous protective layer.

  1. Paint and varnish material - used to protect concrete in accordance with the design solution.
