On the eve of National Unity Day, the Nizhny Novgorod Fair hosted the ceremony of presenting State awards to the best people of the Volga region.

They were handed over by the plenipotentiary of the President in the Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin himself. (Our worker was awarded by the medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" II degree) In total, there were 20 awardees. These were representatives of Udmurtia, Tatarstan, the Republic of Mari El, Ulyanovsk, Samara and other regions. And among them is one of our town: the worker of our plant, Mikhail Gushchin. He was awarded the medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree. Mikhail joined our company in June 2003. Almost immediately he established himself as a responsible, conscientious, proactive worker and very soon, as an extrusion operator, he took part in the manufacture of a special sealing material intended to fulfill the State order for the disposal of chemical weapons.

During the work of M. Gushchin at the ZGM, he mastered all types of activities in production. In 2011, Mikhail became one of the first plant workers transferred to self-control. That is, the products that came out from under his hands do not need to be checked by the Quality Control Department. The portrait of Mikhail Valentinovich is placed on the board of the advanced workers of the enterprise "They answer with honor" and on the "Alley of Flagships". According to the leaders of the ZGM and Mikhail's colleagues, he is not only a professional in his field, but also a good friend, kind, sympathetic person, always ready to help and share someone else's success and joy. For high labor indicators, active social activity, M. Gushchin was repeatedly awarded with thanks and certificates of honor from the administration of the plant, the city of Dzerzhinsk and the Nizhny Novgorod region. And now Mikhail also has a State award - a medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree.

What feelings overwhelm him in connection with this? "The senses? I don’t even know,” Mikhail says, embarrassed. - After all, a reward is, first of all, a great responsibility, both at work and in life in general. Will I be able to justify the honor that has fallen to me, will I not let down the people who presented me for the award? ..».
