Motor rally "Volga Region 2014"
In April, Sealing Materials Plant participated in a rally in the cities of the Volga region, which in total amounted to more than 4000 km.
The purpose of the rally: to see the most interesting objects of road transport infrastructure located along the Volga River and in the central region, to establish partnerships with bridge crews, design institutes, research centers, operating organizations.
The participants of the conferences were bridge builders, road builders, designers, manufacturers of products for the bridge-building and road industry, representatives of industry departments, experts and journalists.
During the rally, 9 scientific and practical conferences, technical excursions, inspection of bridge structures along the entire route took place. The theme of the conferences: "Innovative structural and technological solutions for the construction, repair and reconstruction of bridge structures".
In all cities, the plant's specialist made a report: "The use of materials Abris for waterproofing transport structures."
The report covered the following topics:
- waterproofing of the places where the asphalt concrete pavement adjoins the elements of the bridge bed on the roadway of bridge structures;
- anti-corrosion protection of steel structures of transport structures (bridge spans, corrugated pipes);
- repair of expansion joints;
- waterproofing of concrete structures.
Additionally, the slides demonstrated the technology of using materials on objects.
