Manufacturer of materials and technologies Abris.
Section: Cords
Packaging: corrugated cardboard boxes
TU: 5772-003-43008408-99
Sealant in the form of a self-adhesive cord, which is covered with an anti-adhesive material.
Scope of application:
Color: from gray to dark gray*
*it is possible to manufacture sealants of other colors in agreement with the customer (taking into account the production possibilities and the volume of the order).
Product form: roll, segments.
Sealant Abris S-Sh can be made:
- in frost-resistant version - Abris Sm-Sh (has increased plasticity and stickiness to cold surfaces in conditions of negative temperatures down to minus 20 °С);
- in bioresistant version - Abris Strop-Sh (for operation in tropical and subtropical climates).
Main technical characteristics:

Storage conditions | Store in the original packaging in a dry room, avoiding direct sunlight. The shelf life is 24 months. |
Method of application:
When working with the sealant, no special protective equipment is required for the work.
When working with sealant grade Sh for wooden housing construction, it is recommended to seal the joints in accordance with the design decision and the manufacturer's instructions, taking into account the type of material used (rounded logs, profiled or glued beams, etc.); the degree of wood moisture (natural or after chamber drying); construction technology.
Sealing works are not recommended to be performed at an outdoor air temperature below minus 20 °C, in rain, snow and fog. The recommended sealant temperature during application should be between plus 10 °C and plus 40 °C. At an outside air temperature below plus 5 °C, work can be carried out only after the sealant has been exposed for 24 hours at a temperature not lower than plus 15 °C; it is recommended to use thermal equipment during installation.
At negative temperatures down to minus 20 °C, it is recommended to use Abris Sm brand sealant (frost-resistant version).
