Quick-release radiation-protective thermal insulation Abris RZ bsti

Section: Details
Packaging: corrugated cardboard boxes
TU: 6990-012-52471462-2009

A combined part consisting of a radiation-protective part of the Abris Rzp-02, reinforced on the one hand with a fabric resistant to decontamination, and a heat-insulating PU material on the other hand. To seal the joints of thermal insulation, the parts are additionally equipped with a self-adhesive tape made of fabric with a width of 40 mm.

Quick-release radiation-protective thermal insulation Abris RZ bsti

Scope of application:

designed for fast and efficient installation of thermal insulation of pipelines and equipment, maintaining the temperature of the working environment in them, reducing heat losses and preventing the formation of condensate on work surfaces, as well as protecting personnel and the environment of radiation-hazardous facilities from exposure to ionizing radiation, including for use at nuclear power plants (NPP) and other facilities.

Specifications:

Product form: details.

The continuity and lead equivalent of the quick-release radiation-protective thermal insulation of Abris RZ bsti is checked on the FLOWD 8020 X-ray flaw detector manufactured by Linev ADANI CJSC.

Method of application:

Before installation, the surface of the pipeline must be cleaned of exfoliated layers of rust, remnants of old thermal insulation. Radiation-protective thermal insulation is selected according to size, taking into account the geometric features of the protected object.

The installation of the shell on the pipeline should be carried out so that the longitudinal seams of the shell on the pipe are located above and below, and the transverse seams are parallel to each other. The fastening of the thermal insulation half-cylinders is carried out with the help of clamps, which must be wide enough not to deform the radiation-protective layer and the fabric shell when tightening. After the transverse and longitudinal seams are closed with self-adhesive tape made of fabric.

It is not recommended to carry out thermal insulation during precipitation.

Installation of radiation-protective thermal insulation is recommended to be carried out at an air temperature of minus 40 to plus 70 °C
