Instructions for use

Before applying the tape, it is necessary to carry out preparatory work:

  • clean the surface from various types of dirt (dust, dirt, snow, ice, etc.);
  • dry the surfaces of seams and cracks at low temperatures (up to minus 10 °C), warm the seams with a gas or infrared burner to eliminate ice (frost) and dry;
  • prime the surface with a bitumen primer Abris and let it dry.

The use of tapes does not require specialized equipment. It is necessary to remove the tape roll from the factory packaging. Unwrap the roll along the joined surface. Next, apply the tape to the surface to be joined, press it tightly and roll it with a roller, then remove the anti-adhesive material from the tape. If necessary, warm up the tape with a gas burner. The connection of adjacent docking tapes is carried out butt-to-butt. After that, it is necessary to carry out standard operations for laying and compacting asphalt concrete mix.

The tape is transported by all types of transport in covered vehicles. The permissible ambient temperature during belt transportation is from minus 50 °C to plus 40 °C. The tape must be stored in its original packaging, in warehouses at a distance of at least one meter from heating appliances or in places protected from the sun and precipitation at temperatures from minus 50 °C to plus 40 °C.
