Method of application:
It is recommended to work with Abris EMIsk material at an air temperature of at least minus 10 °C. Works at air temperatures below minus 10 °C (but not below minus 20 °C) can only be carried out after the material has been held at a temperature of plus 18 °C ??for 24 hours.
Before applying the Abris EMI material, clean the protected surface from rust, dirt, dust, putty defective areas with waterproof polymer-cement compositions. The surface should not have chips, shells, sagging of the solution and other damage with a depth or height of more than 2-3 mm. Loose, crumbling surface areas must be strengthened (treated with binders or special film materials).
Dry the surface and, if necessary, treat with Abris Ru, Abris Rp mastic or water-borne primer Abris VRP.
When working with the tape Abris EMIsk-LTf, it is necessary to remove the anti-adhesive material, apply the self-adhesive side to the work surface. Similarly, apply subsequent layers of the tape by applying them end to end, avoiding gaps, or with a minimum overlap (1-2 mm) along the length of the tape, carefully rolling the overlap with a roller.
