The thermally expanding, moisture- and air-tight sealant Abris TR-LB is a plastic mixture expanding at temperature, has a good self-adhesive ability to any dry surfaces, and is characterized by high physical stability.
Scope of application:
Sealant Abris TR is produced in the form of tapes and cords designed to seal joints in structures made of various materials (metal, glass, rubber, etc.) in the automobile, wagon, ship and aircraft industry, pipeline transport (in the couplings of steel pipelines).

The temperature of volumetric expansion is from +150 °C to +170 °C. The volume expansion coefficient is up to 500%. Operating temperature conditions are from -60 °C to +180 °C. The sealant is used in the assembly of various structures in mechanical engineering when assembling structures from various materials, the sealant Abris TR is available in the form of tapes and cords (tape brand Abris TR-LB, cord brand Abris TR-Sh).

Method of application:
Before using the sealant, the work surface must be drained and cleaned of dirt and dust. On a rusty surface, remove the exfoliated outer layer of rust.
When working with a sealant, the use of special protective equipment for workers is not required.
The self–adhesive tape Abris TR- is covered on both sides with an anti-adhesive film or paper. Before use, it is necessary to remove the anti-adhesive coating from either side of the tape, press the tape to the working surface of the part, then remove the film (paper) from the other side of the tape and attach the second part.
The cord Abris TR–is covered on both sides with an anti-adhesive coating. Before use, it is necessary to remove the film (paper) from either side of the cord, press the cord to the working surface of the part, then remove the anti-adhesive film (paper) from the other side of the cord and attach the second part.
The volumetric expansion of the material occurs at a temperature of at least 150 °C.
